As a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, NaBSCO is required to be guided by a set of by-laws and a Board of volunteers. (Legally, nonprofit Board seats cannot be paid positions.)

Each Board member is elected for a two-year term and may serve a maximum of four consecutive years.
