COVID-19 Policies and Protocols

For all NaBSCO performers, including orchestra members, the Music Director and soloists:
Masks
In general, masking in any part of the rehearsal venue is recommended—but not required—with the exception of the policies below.
Covid Disease and Exposure
Based on updated CDC Guidelines, members are required to notify the Covid Committee and follow guidelines under the following circumstances:
Positive rapid or PCR test for Covid
No attendance at rehearsal for minimum of 5 days following positive test, followed by additional 5 days wearing high quality masks (strings/percussion/harp/keyboard only, winds and brass excluded for full ten days). Exception being 2 negative covid tests 48 hours apart.
Symptoms Consistent with Covid-19 (i.e. fever, respiratory symptoms, GI symptoms)
No rehearsal or concert attendance for minimum 7 days and 24 hours symptom free unless following protocols outlined in previous section, above.
Protocols from above section required if testing positive
Covid exposure—Significant exposure defined by close contact greater than 15 minutes
No attendance until 3 negative covid tests 48 hours apart
